デザイナーが、バイヤーとしてファッションに携わる中、思ったジュエリーに出会えなかった事により独学でジュエリー制作を開始。1995年にDETAJをスタート。創造へのアプローチは素材との対話から始まり、金属の持つ特性を最大限に生かし多くの試行錯誤を繰り返す事により独自の素材感を作り出します。インスピレーションは常に日常にあり、時間の共有感、空気感の歪の中から生まれます。華美な装飾性は好まず、構造や機能美から見出だされたなフオルムはすべてハンドメイドで自社アトリエにて作られます。パーソナルな視点で性別を超えた人の内面に訴えかけるもの作りを目指しています。
