DANIEL ANDRESEN(ダニエル・アンドレセン)ファッションの名門、アントワープ王立芸術学院卒業後、ハイダーアッカーマンやHilde Frunt ( ベルギーで最も尊敬されているニットウェア職人の1人 )の元で経験を積み、 2010年に自身のブランドをスタート。ナチュラルな素材(ウールやシルク、リネン)を多用し、それらの素材を独自のニットウェアに落とし込んでいます。彼が繰り出す独自の複雑なニットパターンは自身のアトリエにあるビンテージ編み機で編まれており、それらと現代的な手法を組み合わせたコレクションを作り上げている。

Daniel Andresen is an Antwerp-based fashion designer. He studied at Antwerp's internationally acclaimed institute, The Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
After graduating with a masters degree, Andresen decided to explore his fascination with knitwear and its infinite possibilities. His consequent move to Hamburg earned him a position in heading up both knitwear design as well as production.
He is mainly known for his intricate knitting patterns made in his own studio in Antwerp, where he works on vintage knitting machines. Next to that he experiments with tailoring, botanical dyes, block prints and other innovative crafting techniques.
